Here are all of the charges on UFPD’s crimelog since 10/3. Worth noting there is a Fraud Impersonation charge. Curious if it is related to this story of a high school player being ‘catfished’ into thinking he’d be signing with the school. Honestly, I’m inclined to think it’s not, since the sworn complaint is listed as having come from Century Tower. Though, really, that’s just strange in and of itself.
Florida unexpectedly canceled its weekly Monday press conference about 45 minutes before it was supposed to begin. The Gators provided no explanation for the cancellation, saying only that it “will reschedule this week and send out more information when it is available.”
The cancellation is highly unusual. Head coach Will Muschamp and starting quarterback Jeff Driskel typically meet with the media Monday to discuss the upcoming week’s game.
According to Dave Jones of Florida Today, Muschamp’s future is not the cause of the cancellation. His car was parked outside of the football offices at noon, GatorBait.net confirmed. Jones also reports that freshman quarterback Treon Harris is being investigated in a legal matter.
Harris helped lead Florida to a come-from-behind win over Tennessee on Saturday. Florida scored on its first two possessions after he took over for Driskel, taking a 10-9 lead that it held onto to secure its 10th straight victory over the Volunteers.
Word on the street is Harris has been suspended indefinitely.
Talk about games I wish I’d watched.

1952 Georgia Tech Football - A Perfect Season
Grandaddy was 34 that year. Crazy. They didn’t lose a single game and they won the Sugar Bowl, but they split the National Championship with Michigan State, who was voted number 1 by the AP and Coaches poll. Worth noting Michigan State was also undefeated, but they were 9-0 to Tech’s 12-0.
Cheap Seats - Putt Putt S01E19
Someone posts about putt putt and I cannot resist posting this.
The Legend of Gatorade
Because my grandfather is adorable, and Larry Smith’s run is still awesome. Also, fun fact: Grandaddy left Georgia Tech (and Bobby Dodd) to take the coaching position at UF, so playing Tech was always extra important for him.
The St. Pete Shuffleboard Club turns 90 years old today. The oldest and largest Shuffleboard Club in the world is still one of the coolest places to be on a Friday night. Pictures are from their Facebook page, which you should absolutely go ‘like’ right now.
Paralympian Alana Nichols was on Conan and you have GOT to see the clip she played. Seriously mind-blowing.
Key and Peele’s Ridiculous Football Names Return
